Buy on the Bus

Glasgow Citybus has a range of tickets available to buy on the bus:

• Single fares
  • Single fares are available for all journeys
  • Adult fares ranging from 80p to £1.40
  • Child fares are 60p
  • Change given
• Day tickets
  • Make as many journeys as you wish on any Glasgow Citybus service on the day of purchase
  • Competitively priced at £2.20 (adult or child)
  • Change given

While change is given on all of our buses, please do try to have your correct fare ready if possible.

Buy in advance

Glasgow Citybus accepts the follow tickets:

• Zonecards
  • Valid on bus, train and ferry, for one, four or 52 weeks
  • Select your zones to meet your needs
  • Available all across Strathclyde, including on all Glasgow Citybus services
  • Buy at staffed railway stations, SPT Travel Centres or SPT agents

• Plusbus
  • Coming to Glasgow by train?
  • Ask for a "Plusbus" ticket and get bus travel included
  • Unlimited bus travel in Glasgow for the whole day, including on Glasgow Citybus
  • Buy at any staffed National Rail station outside Strathclyde

Concessions

The Concessionary Travel passes issued by The Scottish Executive are valid on all Glasgow Citybus services and are valid every day at all times. More details are available from Strathclyde Partnership for Transport and Transport Scotland.
